Here is a link to my new favorite protractor for 115 mm 'pivot to spindle' Technics arms. This one is the easiest to use and sounds the cleanest to me. The cart will be a couple mm more forward in the headshell, and slightly angled toward the spindle vs the simple technics alignment/overhang tool. You have no VTA adjustment, so experimenting with greater or lesser mat thickness would be your only other easy tweak.

at a British site (someone must know).
I have found that the extra thick mat is a good upgrade ($20 at KABUSA) and you can try upgrading cartridges. I like my D2. The protractor I use is at enjoythemusic.com.
would you happen to know what cartridge comes standard on these? Because the seller can't remember and i can't find a manual or anything like it. So i can't set the tracking force correctly it seems (I'm just going by what a friend told me when I asked for his 2 cents on set up)
