What's the difference (except for $130) between the SL-1200MK2 and the
SL-1210MK2? I'm talking home use, not deejaying in a club. Thanks....

which was also made for the international market, I assume. I bought it used in Canada. It should have the switch, but I haven't checked. Where would it be?
Musiciansfriend gives the standard warranty info, 1 year, but says to check with the manufacturer for specific warranty info. If it is sold by an authorized U.S. dealer, I would think it would be covered. It does seem strange that it is cheaper when it is actually more capable. Musiciansfriend frequently has 1210 blems for about $330.
Like Henry states the USA/Canada versions only come strapped for 110v operation. A UK or other 220v countries would find a selector switch for 110v.
it looks like the color is the only difference now. I remember the Musiciansfriend description used to mention the switchable voltage, but no more.

depending on whether you are in North America or Europe
SL-1200MK2s are available in silver or black. SL-1210s are all black.

Check Musician's friend for their price.Or you can buy some cool KABusa.com gear that comes optimized for audiophools like us. A little more expensive but you get better sound right out of the gate.
The SL-1210MK2 is the black international version so it's grey market meaning no warranty in North America.Only the MK2 comes with the tick rubber mat and dustcover hinge.
There is an SL-1200MK4 on the Asian market aimed at audiophile with 78rpm and Titanium armtube and detachable interconnect and the tick rubber mat.
