And, while the OC9ML/II is more detailed on top, I've never found the treble lacking.

Or how many wads of chewing gum?I mean can you imagine, a 103 isn't exactly a featherweight cartridge. Now add an additional 7 grams ... wow! I wonder if Rega ever expected that much mass to be hanging at the from of a 250? Boggles the mind!

They can weigh up to 2.5 grams. Just throw thee on and you should have a close approximation to that weight.
Dear mystified and boggled,i really got the idea from someone who has an expensive arm and put a nickel on the headshell. So I tried it and it worked.
BTW, insult me directly. I don't mind.
O MalleyYou haven't really lived until you've tried Vintage Cryoed Bulgarian coins, we're talking subtle nuance up the Ting / Yang ! ;-)
The reason a lot of folks are getting the DL 103's to sing on some arms that are a bit light, is very often additional damping
it makes for big difference.I know a guy who has run lower compliance Cartridges than a DL 103 on a Mission 774, he used the widest paddle and a slightly more viscous Silicone(Damping fluid)
As they say there is more than one way to skin a Cat (Denon)
it's a dangerous river.First, I removed all the weight. Tonight I will reweight it front and aft, see what happens. I got a nice buffalo nickel
It just might be the rb250.
I have a question. If you don't have any coins, will food stamps work?

As well as the fact that the Manufacturer expends (squanders) over $170.00 in administrative expenses for every single dollar in profit
and many of the cartridges develop (loss of self esteem based )dependency and reduced functionality issues once they've been mounted on these entitlement tonearms :-(

fine in a RB 250/300. The arms are close, effective mass wise. I kinda wish I had an RB250 to try it.
