An upside down Rega P3 platter? right...
Someone is play'in with our heads here.
Follow Ups:
The hole is drilled in a glass Rega platter such that one side will spin properly.Reversing the platter can -- not always -- can cause the platter to visible wobble in the horizontal plane.
This completely f's up the sound of the turntable and must be corrected.
No difference at all.
So it's important to do a visual check.

My post was serious, fool. If there's a joke here, you're it.
Why don't you share with us all the imaginary difference of right from wrong side on your P3 platter?I want some of what he’s got…
at the bottom of the closet) has a glass platter that is EXACTLY the same on both sides. Could you take a quickie digital photo of your platter and post it? If you're so serious (which you apear to be!), I for one would be interested in Rega's different platter arrangements..
I just check on my old planar 3 and there is a visible difference between the 2 sides. Mine was initially on the right side. Perhaps i will try to listen to music on the wrong side tonight.
I guess it is the finishing of the center hole or the way it is drilled that make the difference.
