Hello,
I also have P3. How could you tell which is the right side!?
I just looked and the platter looks absolutely symmetrical to me.
I mean both sides the same!??
Follow Ups:
I don't own one of these tables and have only seen one in online photo's so take this for what it's worth but I know on some tables they have a very slightly tapered hole so the platter with sit nice and tight on the spindle. If this was placed on upside down it would not seat fully and could have a silght wobble. though I would also assume the platter would sit slightly higher with the platter set on the wrong side. And I could be completely off base here only offering a idea based on other tables.

Well you can't tell by looking, because by looking, I didnt know there was a "right" side. It's only by listening you can tell. The analytical nature of the table was mostly gone when the platter was switched to the other side. Listen and see which you prefer, simple as that.
Take off the mat.Get a piece of paper with writing or some kind of detailed design on it.
Slide the paper under the edge of the glass platter.
Turn on your Rega.
Look straight down from above at the edge of the platter as it spins over the piece of paper.
If you see the edge moving slightly "in and out" from the center bearing, try flipping the glass over. The design on the paper should help you get a very exact picture of what the edge of the platter is doing.
You want the edge to have no movement at all in this 'in and out' direction from the center bearing.
Hello,My God, I think you are right. There seems there is one side that has a much smoother shaving of the edge. Very subtle.
If you are right, if there is really a right side, we should once again congratulate Rega people to force their customers discover their turntables with the help of AA Vinyl inmates.

Thank you, Regards, Zuheyr**
...or instead of thanking Rega or Hukkfin, you could simply thank me, since I'm the one who made the effort to tell people about it!
I'll bet the P2 is the same.
