Man, the prices on their used LPs!!!!
And what's with the Funk Firm?
Don't get me wrong, though. I like AS.

Yeah, I tend to not consider their used vinyl. New vinyl, is another consideration and they're one of the sources I've used. No complaints so far.Funk..? 'Haven't figured out what to make of them yet. Another line of turntables. More choices for those who would rather not fix/restore a vintage model.

Admitedly, I've never heard one of the Funks, but looking at them it doesn't seem like you get much for your thousand dollars.
Just my (eh) two cents.

bought my NM Fruit Tree box (the nicer, earlier version with three lps) for less than half of their price for this, later version. even more ridiculous is the sketches of spain price.
I paid $30 for mine at a record show, and it's got the wrong song order on Side 2.
Yeah, but....I ordered Barbirolli Sibelius Symphony No. 2 on Chesky from AS the other day, and it was only $9.50.
That ain't bad.

on the street near where I live. One dollar for a NM 6- eye stereo "Sketches" at a garage sale in Costa Rica, years ago. And on and on. I do not know where they get these prices for recordings that sold in volume...

five bucks. Incredibly, I was the only bidder.
You're right, millions of copies of these things were sold and if even 10% of them still survive, that's a huge number of records.

and I take advantage of those but I continue to be amazed at some of the pricing.
