Man, RUSH rules! It doesn't get any better than Moving Pictures to me, but 2112 (especially Side 2) is awesome indeed. It's really hard to go wrong with them...from Fly By Night (1975) through Signals (1982), they consistently delivered the goods - musically and sonically. GET THEM ALL! The next best, IMO, after Moving Pictures, 2112, and Permanent Waves, is Hemispheres, Fly By Night, and A Farewell to Kings. Bringing up the rear, although still great, are Caress of Steel, Signals, and Rush (s/t). Their live LP's are not good sonically and their stuff after Signals abandons Alex Lifeson's thick guitar work and is over-reliant on synthesizers and sterile production. Glad you dug them!
Follow Ups:
I've got all of the ones you mention except Fly By Night, Signals, and Caress of Steel .
But they're all easy to find and cheap to buy.

"Signals" is under-rated in my opinion. You might think it's boring at first but it kinda grows on you.
i agree, in fact it might very well be my favorite rush album.
The song "Losing It" gives me chills every single time I listen to it. I don't think I can say that about any other song, especially one I've listened to so many times. I'm on my way to cue it up right now...on vinyl of course!
