I'd like to be able to go lower than 82 Ohms.
Follow Ups:
My Melos Reference Phono has front panel settings of
5,10,22,47,91,180,270,390,510,1k,23k,47k for each channel (since it is dual mono). I know of no preamp that was this generous and easy with the resistance settings.Unfortunately for you, Melos Audio is extinct.

47000ohm down to 0ohm with any preamp. Or any range in between. :-)

Is this a variable loading model we've yet to see? Or do you mean that by soldering in the proper resistor you can have any one (or more) of those settings you described in another post?
You can either use a fixed resistor value if you know what you want. Or via the trim pot method you can "dial in" any value in the range allowed for by the trim pot choosen.
