Ebay strikes again!
Follow Ups:
A troublesome arm in humid climates. Liked to stick in place, even when the arm was thoroughly cleaned as per Dr. Forsell's recommendations just minutes before. Now think about how that treats a stylus and the record groove wall.
Not much help from the "Doctor" either.

Is there anything that Portland Maine is noteworthy for?eso
like frisco or san fran, which is where i just moved from - so i know cali pretty well. but, if it is a disparging name, i apologize - i didn't know, but i guess i could see where maybe i should have guessed.sort of like my gypsy friend constantly being upset when folks say they got gipped (sp?) - i understanding his offense, but he has to understand that 97% of the people have no idea of the term's origins.
maine is known for many generalizations, but i don't think portland is on the radar enough to have any.
so, can i ask for a clarification of what 'lala land' is generalizing? i guess i had only thought of the pun on 'LA'.

"There's something magical about an ELF"
This reminds me of a story....Guy is looking in the paper, sees this ad for an almost new Porsche for $50. Naturally, he almost trips over himself getting to the phone. Nice lady answers, says, yes, she has a Porsche for sale for $50, would he like to come over and take a look?
Naturally, the guy drives right over, rings the doorbell, lady answers and takes him over to the garage, opens the door and shows him a mint current year top-of-the line Porsche. Would he like to take a test drive? Yes, he would. She gives him the keys, he gets in, starts it up and drives it around. It's beautiful, runs perfectly, steering, brakes, interior, everything is perfect. Comes back, the lady has the legal papers, he hands her $50, she gives him the keys, spare keys, all the papers. Just before he gets into the car, he pauses, and says,
"Excuse me for asking, but why are you selling this beautiful car for $50.""Well," she says, "it was my husband's. He just ran off with his gorgeous 25 year old secretary, and he sent me a telegram. It said, "Sell the Porsche, and send me the money."
Unbelievable, 46 fairly high dollar items with low starting bids and no reserves.
All one day auctions ending within one hour of each other.I guess there really is a sucker born every day...

the "seller" wanted to get some bids in quick before anyone noticed, then have the buyers pay "for a box of air."
Have a look at the Seller's Items List.

hopefully after the bidders stop jumping up and down because they missed such a great bargain they'll realize they were saved from sending their money into a black hole.
No activity for six months then all these 24 hour auctions.
... at Christmas time too.Someone was "selling" digital cameras on my account somehow. I was actually suspended for a month while it was investigated. The account was reinstated.
The funny thing is, whoever was behind the fraud actually sent out merchandise to some buyers. I have a positive feedback from one of the buyers, the only feedback as a seller on my account!
