Follow Ups:
the OA apparently are special order and I was thirsty for vinyl action since the Benz Glider was dead. Which one do you have?
I have the wood as well.
I had many posts regarding the break-in process and how it progressed. The cartridge does change substantially over the first 40 hours or so. You might want to do a search of my posts.Enjoy it!

I read all your posts prior to purchasing the Ruby 3. They were a big help in my purchasing decision! For this post, I couldn't remember whether you had the wood or OA version.Alignment took lots of time because it is so difficult to see the cantiliver under the wood shell and the body sits so low to the LP (or alignment protractor). ==> I could use any tips you may have for speedier alignment ;-)
helps one see the need/cantilever quite easily!

Thanks Larry! I do need to get a WallyTractor since I don't plan on changing tonearm, table or cartridge for quite a while now.I've been using the mirrored Turntable Basics protractor and its still difficult to see the cantilever under the cartridge shell.
