Ha! I bought two of those since there was a minimum order from Papst. Used one for a project (it's around here somewhere) and sold off the other. The price was $90 at the time.Several other TT manufacturers (like Wilson Benesch) also used it. I think you also have to consider the pulley which is undoubtedly specific for your turntable.

Denmark. It is propably not in production anymore. When did you buy it?
I think you are right that it is not in production any more since that's the reason Michell gave for changing over to DC motors. Bought mine way back in 1997.
