Dear TI don't know if you have removed the junk at the back of your Lingo. Lingo is not worth owning without that small tweak.
The Aro is a very good choice on the LP12. I have the Aro headshell slotted - no problems with SRA or VTA adjustments at all.

Hi KIS, thank you, by small tweak do you mean that amazing surgical operation on the power cord entry, in which you dig and gouge and hack through a chunk of resin to get past what looks like an R-C network and connect your Lingo directly to the mains?I like the idea because it's cheap and hands-on but on the other hand, if it doesn't work or you hack crooked, it hardly looks like you can put things back the way they were much at all.
So, it is very much worth the risk all the same, you say?
Two votes so far for the Aro, and Art Dudley of course. Interesting.
Dear TThe sad part of your philosophy is that you'll just never know.
I have not heard one person who did the mod ever think that it was worst.
Well I don't know now, but I would certainly like to. I much admire all those who have done it successfully. Perhaps if I had another look at the Lingo...It seemed to me when I checked it that a small motorized saw like a Dremel would be the best tool, but what stopped me was that I thought you could not be sure exactly where or how far to cut.
What's your experience with this, if you care to share it? My TT is in storage after a house fire, but when I get it back, perhaps I could post here again and ask for your help. And thanks for the tip!
