It is under roof in 2 huge pavilions.
Tarp your stuff at night for protection from dew.
Tailgating
It might put you away from the central action. Vendor vehicles surround the pavilions. The Renningers people would probably try to help make it work for you if you choose to.

Is this the type of place that might have parts for my Empire TT or Thorens. Accesories like wall racks and Phono preamps/ isolation devices.
Kutztown is more of a radio/tubes meet than anything else. There is hi-fi there....but it is FAR out numbered by radios and other typical ham fest junk. The chances of you finding anything hi end phono related (even vintage hi end phono related) at Kutztown is very slim.Kutztown is fun to go to, and I appreciate the enthusiasm Alnico and Interstage Tranny have for the show....but the show is still mainly a radio show and the empahsis is on that end of the hobby.
Radio/Hamfests have had the life sucked out of them by EBAY...and most of the sellers at events like Kutztown just bring their junk and leave the good stuff for the EBAY pile. At the last Kutztown meet I found a lone NOS 12AX7 mixed in with 1000's of tubes, and when I went to pay for it the seller remarked "I thought I pulled all of those out." to me.
Nt:
If I just show up (without registering)with a van full of vintage goodies could I get a table if one is available? If not could I tailgate?
A regular flea market is held at the same time on saturday. So plenty of spaces exist for that. Start packing.

Chances are good you'll be able to snag a space in the adjacent pavilion. The Renninger's staff is friendly and very accomodating. They'll find you a spot somewhere. There are instances where someone with a reservation in the main pavilion doesn't show up and their space can be comandeered. Just to give you an idea of dimensions, the sold out main pavilion is approximately 35,000 square feet with about 200 tables. That's a lot of vintage gear, folks. You've been warned!
Yes, Call in sick tomorrow. Pack up and head on, to Reningers Antique Market in Kutztown, PA. Thanks to the DVHRC.org , these shows just get better and better and betterer...See You There...
