There are efficient enough for any amp and get loud. I was thinking of brining my portable Pilot record player but need a replacement cart for a shure M7D-M or a new stylus. The player is basically a Pilot 240 amp using EL84's and has an Aux input for any other source. Any thoughts. They will take up a lot of room but we will be rocking.

With your enthused reply I hope I got the spelling right!!
BIG speakers. Next time, get a space reserved with 1 table and electric. I will probably use the little Fried Betas, Eico HF-81 and Toshiba CD. Lots of other fun stuff will show up. The guys set up a high quality AM radio station too.I am bringing a lot of parts this time. Fisher SS receiver, amp and tuner. Some tube integrateds, maybe some reverbs, maybe the big Sony receiver, Some coax speakers, about 2 1/2 station wagon loads!!
It;s the best time of the year. Look forward to seeing everyone.
Hi Henrybasstardo,
Thumping efficiency and power handling is needed ! I will have your N3D stylus, plus a 78 tip, available for that M3D or M7D cart that you need. I'll be right next to Al Nico. Party ON !!!!!!!!!!
Al Nico says there is no room. I don't have a table. Oh well
Well, you could keep them on the floor, under my tables, until the Friday night blast. Then, we'll make room on or near my tables, for some serious listnin'.
Unless, there is no room in your vehicle, then I understand.
Thanks
They are coming then, I have room.
Love to hear 'em! Bring 'em for sure. Lots of friendly folk, tons'o neat stuff for sale, and some seriusly fun after-dark listening. We're all kinda clustered together near the fifty yard line. Be sure to stop by the Gobs of Knobs field office and say howdy.
