I usually use standard electronic cleaner spray, available at hardware stores, for both the jacks and the controls. On the controls, I follow it up with a shot of Caig Cai-Lube to restore lubrication to conductive surfaces. On the jacks, I just spray the plug & insert it, then twist it around a bit, pull it out & repeat the process a few times. You can also use a pipe cleaner, sprayed with the cleaner.
On controls, you'll want to open up the unit & find the hole on the rear of the potentiometer casing. Using the plastic nozzle, give it a reasonable blast with the cleaner spray & rotate the control all the way through the range a few times. Then repeat. Then hit it with the Cai-Lube & work the control again.
Of course, make sure you unplug the unit before spraying allow the carrier to dry before plugging back in.

Hopefully some place local...Radio Shack, maybe? Fry Electronics? Other?
Caig's DeOxit, ProGold, etc. can be ordered online from Markertek.Markertek is a good source for a number of items relevant to the audio hobby. The service is excellent and the prices reasonable.

Radio Shack has tuner and contact cleaner, and may have the Caig De-Oxit 5. Parts Express carries Caig.
Radio Shack does carry the deoxit. In my neck of the wood they only carry a combo pack of deoxit cleaner and pro gold in the small 5 oz (?) can. If you're going to be doing much cleaning the ordering online is definitely the better deal.My can of cleaner is empty after only two receivers.
Hi there. The regular contact cleaner should be available at any decent hardware store in the electrical department. Radio Shack sells it, but they're kinda high priced. I get mine from True Value Hardware for about $5 a can.
The Cai-Lube (I guess it's now called "DeoxIT FaderLube") is about $12 a can, so use it sparingly. You can get it at Amazon, Radio Shack, Parts Express or other online sellers.
