I found a single Concerto in perfect condition. I have it hooked up to the extension speaker terminals on a 50's Fisher mono consol. EL84 outputs. The bass from the jensen is impressive. I have only listened for a few days but it sounds full with killer midrange. The Fisher has 3 8" in the cab and I can disconnet the fishers with a swing tab to A/B them. Good stuff, If I could only find two Imperials. hehe

But how would she find them in all this stuff?
To die in the golden age speaker would be one way I wouldn't mind going. You need a museum. An addition to the addition. Thanks for letting me see your collection. It's incredible, you really need a museum. I'll be in touch.Best wishes
I have an H-510, 15" Coax in a Customode cabinet with an RP302 super tweeter. I sounded quite good throuh a Craftsman M500 amp and a Brociner preamp that was my fathers setup. I haven't heard it in manny years but I still plan to put it together in a mono setup.
Im using a pair of university coaxials horns and they are mounted in custom built Kustom Akoustiks speaker boxes and they sound fantastic..There is no magnet per say on the speakers but they produce bass thats unreal and mids and high that are wonderful..I havent hooked my stat panels back up yet.
If you want a couple imperials and you got about 10 grand you can get a pair.
I disagree, I will find an Imperial before I die cheap. $10,000 sounds great. Guess I can get $1000 for the Concerto that was given to me but listning to the Phillies loose tonight cannot be replaced with money, not the loss, the sound, lol. Plus I was cranking Q102 for the kids earlier. Keep looking and you will find one. Imperial, Imperial, imperial
Cheers
You could always build one. The plans are available.
I have P12 in cabinet awaiting a Scott 99A re-build. I'm going to use a Garrard RC88 changer to play old 78's on it...... one of these days.
Have a Jensen Imperial cabinet and speaker from the 49 catalog paired up with a Fisher 500 mono receiver el37 outputs. Sounds fantastic. A great pair.
Nice!
I'm jealous, like mine, only better.
I have a pair ( actually a mono pair ) of Heathkits from the 50's.SLB-1 and SLB -2 , I believe.
