I am somewhat vague on this but I thought that when Paoli was formed one of the money people behind it was using ARC SP3 and D76 with Magies.Does anyone remember Shilling and Johnson?
Follow Ups:
Paoli was owned by Eugene Coggins. The Paoli amp was done by another man, forget his name though I could find it, and it was very different from the Audio Research amp.
Paoli was owned by Eugene Coggins is what I remember now that you jog my memory.Do you remember the name Bill Boyd by chance?
sorry, no but I do recall the name of the Paoli amp designer. It was Walter Key. He wrote a few columns for Stereophile in the 70s.
