Now where do I start. The console has Wolverine LS12's, MR10's and T35's, CR10 and CR35 crossovers. The electronics of course are gone but a Garrard Type A changer still inhabits. Should I remove and try to clean the pots on the crossovers first or just hook it up and see what output I get first. The connections are all a little crusty. If no or low output, what is the best way to test each driver individually? How rare were the consoles with these built in? It is a little rough. Thanks for any help. I'll try to post a picture when I get a chance.

I don't think Wolverines were very comon in consols. Since you say that it is a little rough, I suspect your consol was homebuilt. Wolverens were very comon in homebuilt systems. They were and still are a good choice! If you just wan't to test the drivers, I would bypass the pots. If the caps are oil, they are probably still good (if they look good). If they are electrolytic, it would be prudent to replace them before testing. EV plans for Wolverine drivers are on the web. Do a search on the Hig Efficencey Asylum.Consols are generally worthless but Wolverine drivers are very good. If it were me, I'd loose the Type A but some people like them.
Dave,
Thanks for the info. The console is a little rough from wear, but definitely professionally built. Sideways sliding front cover similiar to a roll-top desk that wraps behind the cabinet when opened, pull out drawer for the TT and it is cherry wood I beleive. Just took pics but have to figure out how to post here. Haven't had time to look at as the flu bug got me right after I brought it home.
