Hello forum readers,A friend of mine has a very nice Fairchild 412 turntable with a Weathers wooden tonearm, and a pair of matching Weathers bookshelf speakers. We are trying to find some sources for realistic appraisals of the value of these pieces. The turntable and speakers are in very good condition, perhaps 8.5/10, with only minimal surface scratches not unrealistic for pieces dating back to the early sixties. If anybody can help us find out what the value range of these pieces might be, please email me at legato1@cox.net.
Thanks!

Got an extra "i" in the URL.Going rate would be $150-250. Condition and working order play a part
I would have thought more. It sure is a nice looking table!
The pic link isn't working for me.
My opinion is that the speakers probably have minimum value and if the Weathers arm is like the I had where the rear of the arm slips into a rubber mounting bushing, I think it's of minimum value too.
The Fairchild 412 in my opinion is a huge sleeper yet undiscovered and the last one that sold on E-Bay went for somewhere around $167 with arm. (412-1)
There was more than one version of the 412 and some of the older ones with the green plastic speed select window have fetched more. Probaly because they are perceived as being of sturdier construction than the newer kit versions.
Personally I think the 412 has all the PRAT of a TD124 but the later 60's versions aren't built like tanks.
