Go ahead and ask your wife how many components you have! I dare you.
"Lorena how many old components do I have?" and watch heads roll.If your wife has an accurate count she has done an inventory and her lawyer will be contacting you soon.
Follow Ups:
My daughter has seen me looking online at gear and she asked me why I was looking I already had too much. lol
I've had a pair of Spica tc50s stashed in the basement for years. I was looking for any old pair of used speakers for a friend and my girlfriend piped up "don't you have those speakers downstairs?" D'oh!
Lately my wife tells me what are you replacing them speakers with or
which receiver is this 1 supose to replace? I my self think I have to much and need to down size again but most of it is nothing really great, just curb find projects I hope to get to some day!Brian
My wife does tend to say from time to time that how many tube amps does 1 man need..? I quickly say,....hunny you now how I am searching for THAT tone in all my guitar tube amps...? well it is exactly the same with hi-fi, so she lets that go..BUT....she thinks I have WAY more gear than I actually do..go fugure...
JANDG, if she gets ya a Tech 21 Sansamp GT-2 for your birthday, your tube amps' gig's up (;{)!!!
...cat cares too much what components I have; although he does like to perch on top of the stack of spare speakers.

Later Gator,
Crank up your talking machine, grab a jar of your favorite "kick-back", sit down, relax, and let the good times roll.
... am quite sure she much prefers me tinkering around with my audio hobby to alternatives such as spending Saturday afternoon at the sports bar. Also, she has followed my audio swapping and tweaking long enough to know she gets to listen to much better music than any of her friends do.
