I have a stock MSB Linkdac III and want to mod it,I found some old info and it suggests using AD827 opamps but I cannot find any,are there any others that are better and available? If so where can I buy them?
Follow Ups:
Having modded dozens of Link III's I would second Julien's suggestion on the LT1364.
I have a Gold link III, are these op amps plug and play or do you need to bring out the iron?
Plug and play. 8 pin DIP sockets installed already.
Thank you. Looks like a relatively inexpensive mod. A few questions if you don't mind. How many will I need for my MSB Gold link III, what is the best place online to purchase them, and any installation tips i.e. how to get the originals out, chip orientation etc.
I use the Linear Technologies LT1364 in my Gold Link DAC IIII have tried some others from Burr Brown, Analog Devices, and National Semiconductor
I keep coming back to the LT1364
