Thanks for your comments which are very encouraging. Don't know why hardly anybody is trying those caps in XO application but only in coupling application.
Chris promised to send them on Tuesday but haven't seen any mail from him.
BTW, what caps did they replace in your speakers?
regards
Duomike

Hi Duomike,Please post your results after you have installed the vcaps on the Duos. I'm still debating whether to Omega my Duos or go to the Orpheans. Style wise i prefer the Duos but could live with the Orpheans. Also looking to put Vcaps in my Starchief amp too. Feel free to email re. the Omega improvements too.
Cheers
smart.
Will gladly post my impressions here after the caps got some burn in time on them.
Omega drivers with new XO is quite an improvement over standard albeit at high costs. Check the archieves. Not familiar with the other speakers you have mentioned.
The caps that the VH Audio TFTF and OIMP's replaced were the Auricaps and Meadowlark's own Canary Caps. Both were 5.0uF in value. The speakers sounded somewhat better immediately, but about 200-300 hours later they took on a new meaning of musicality without grain and dynamics galore! Highly, highly recommended for any loudspeakers or amplifier coupling applications.
