I read several times here about the advantages of individual isolation transformers feeding each of your digital components. As described by Kenster in a thread below I plugged my DVD player into my Walker Phono Motor Controller and was pleased with the result. However, this would be an expensive and bulky solution for adding transformers to the rest of my digital gear: DACs, ADCs, processors, reclockers, eq, etc.
What is recommended for small individual transformers? I thought I had read once about a company (BPT?) that had a box with something like six transformers in it but searches turned up empty.
I have at the head of my system two balanced 3kVA Equitech 240/120 step-down transformers feeding two separate panels (one analog, one digital), so would like to keep the individual transformers balanced also.
Follow Ups:
I have a supply of new 24v @ 1A open frame iso tfmrs measuring 2-1 H x 2-1/2" W x 2"L that I'd let go for $3.50 ea. If interested contact me @ paulkell44@ yahoo.com
The top of the line Furman power conditioners have one transformer, but a seperate winding for each bank or zone of components. The newest models (shipping soon) have additional Mu metal shielding between the windings too for greater isolation.
Industrial looking, but well built, 0 voodoo.
If you don't mind DIYing I'd look at their line. Top quality in all respects IMHO. I have played with back to back (w/caps), balanced, and plain isolation transformers. I too run a balanced power with a 240 primary in front of them. Considering that you do, I don't think you will gain enough to offset the cost and would just go with normal transformers (all 2 winding transformers are isolation transformers). A faraday screen is a nice option. And so are Jon Risch's filters. I think it best not to have these transformers close to each other (as in all crammed in same box). I'd advise a transformer twice the size of your actual load.
"As described by Kenster in a thread below I plugged my DVD player into my Walker Phono Motor Controller and was pleased with the result."It is pretty sweet huh? Best upgrade for digital I have heard to date.

U ain't lying there. It is an extreme tweak to say the least.

I believe your after the API Ultra series of Power conditioners. They employ small balanced power transformers for each of the source component outlets.
