From what I read it looks like you have paid attention to the details with the bypass caps. I may be going out on a limb here, but I would think that once the cap is charged the wire becomes a part of the tank/reserve. I believe that there may be additional inductance based on the wire, but overall it should work and yield sonic benefits.Of course you could optimize the mod with more esoteric caps and ones that fit the board, but that would take some of the fun out of immediately implementing the modification.

hi DaveT, yes i seem to hear more details, and a tighter bass. Thanks for your help!
but you would hear it if it was affecting you.The very short charging pulses from the rectifiers to the capacitors are now flowing through a piece of wire in free air.
There is potential for this to be radiated into low level areas of your amp and result in 100/120Hz buzz/hum.
If you can't hear it you ain't got it!
hi Clifff, i see what you are saying but, i don't hear anything like you are refering to so, maybe it will be alright. i plan to try and at least, upgrade to some ELNA SILMIC OR CERAFINE CAPS later on maybe, i can get something about 4700mf. 35v. range that will fit the foot print of the board. Thanks for pointing that fact out to me though! i learn something new every day seems like lol!.
