Hi ,Just trying out the Daruma 3-II isolation device.
And i cannot get the top and bottom pieces aligned properly.
The top piece should be the one with the dome-profile , and the bottom pieces is the flat-surface, makes it all the more difficultCan someone share how did you get them aligned ?
Should the 3 supports be placed as wide a triangle as is possible ?
Or is there some methodology to finding an optimal positioning of the 3 supports under the player ?
Follow Ups:
There are 2 tricks for getting the top and bottom sections of the Darumas to be aligned: first, make sure the surface underneath the Darumas is absolutely level. Second, make sure the center of gravity of the component is located above the center of a *wide* equilateral or isosceles triangle formed by the 3 sets of Darumas. Align Darumas one set at a time until all 3 sets are aligned.
Still can't get it. The bottom surface is pretty level.
The problem is that when i place each daruma on the surface, the top-piece will run somewhat off-center as soon as i let go. Then when i slowly lower the player on the 3 darumas, at least one of them ends up in even worse off-set.(Feeling like a fool as it seems no one else has ever posted about facing this difficulty).
Use a stick of some type and nudge the top half into alignment while the component is on top.
