I’ve been searching (via Google) for a download of a 1 KHZ Sine Wave. I need to download it so I can burn it to a CD. Any suggestions on where I can find one. I need to adjust the pots on a Sonic Frontiers Line 2 preamp. Is there a difference from 1 KHZ Sine Wave and another?

If you download WinIsd, it has a built in generator that you can run on your computer. Just another option for you.

If you have Itunes you can get one. There's an artist called "Bass Mekanik" who has a bunch of sine wave tracks, unsuprisingly mostly in the bass. "1k Hz Sine Wave 0 DB" is the one you want; it's 33 seconds long.
I hope they are audiophile quality!
If you have a CD burner you could download and install Audacity, an audio capture and editing program that has tone generation functions. Using Audacity you generate the 1kHz tone for the desired length of time, save it as a WAV file and then burn it to a CD.
The following url http://www.mediacollege.com/audio/tone/download/ has a range of downloadable wav and mp3 tones including 1khz. There is also a freeware tone generator on sourceforge at http://sourceforge.net/projects/wavbGoogle “audio test tones” and “audio test frequencies” for more options.
