Thanks. I'll look it up on ebay.I was wondering if the dealers get these and sell them back with markup price...
Follow Ups:
I lucked out though, they were $7 a piece or so but when 1 shipment arrived they were broken pretty bad...the seller sent me all new ones and i'm still using the old ones. ultimately i bought 7 of 'em for under $50.
Is this the one you're talking about?

Do you have their direct website ? I don't have ebay account so i like to buy direct though. However, i don't like its color... so painting job is required..:)
That is a good example of a ceramin pin insulator, but the ones I purchased were from the US Army. Up north in Wisconsin a humongous ammo plant closed down and they sold off what was valuable.Last time i bought these was 4 months ago, not sure if they are still selling them.
There should be dozens of these listings on ebay, search ceramic insulator also.
The ones I bought were over 6" tall too, there are many difft styles.
Spend some time looking and you'll see some of these are rare and collectible. One sold for $1800 on ebay when i bought one that looked similar for $5.
try and buy several from a good seller, save on shipping....these things get heavy.
i think the one you are looking at is 4" tall and that thick wire on it? Often incredible difficult to remove...thick wire that hasn't been bent in decades.
yeah..i've found one and am bidding on it.
thanks.
