Have you looked into Duelunds? They have some stacked foil caps made specifically for XOs, plus they have a brand new circular design that they say is even better than the stacked foils. Check em out at www.electrumaudio.com. They also make resistors that are also specifically designed for XOs in case you want to look at replacing them too

Why would you suggest Duelunds when the Mundorfs are more than he wants to spend?
This smells of shillery.
comment about the Mundorfs. Plus I have 3 kids running around and a sick wife, so I admit perhaps I did not really focus as best as I could. Sorry about making a fool out of myself....
An easy mistake. Sorry I mentioned it.
The Deulands are quite expensive. Mundorfs are somewhat less. I think Hovlands or DynamiCaps should be a decent upgrade from the Solen and SCR caps that are in there.
what sonic changes are you hoping for?I did a solen (and belot) upgrade to sonicap generation1's in my i93s and a mates duntech maquis. In both cases we thoroughly enjoyed the improvement, but I guess its all relative to what your wanting to change sonically.
I found Hovlands to be descernibly inferior sounding to the Hovlands I bought, installed and listened to for a while. But everyones ears and expectations are different So are their Speakers :-)
