i have no experience yet with these, but I am kinda familiar with this type of acoutic control strictly as a user. According to the Cable Companies e-mails about this product, this new tech is similar to michael green audio's Room Tunes kit, which i have.its not absorption, which is what most other acoustic treatments are.
personally, i like what controlling room pressure does and think these new corner pads would be cool to play with. They look good and supposedly act as bass traps too... talk about WAF factor.
to do my room would cost about $600 whereas the Room Tunes deluxe kit i bought was $225.

I guess that's where I am having some trouble getting my head around how these things work...If they do as claimed...very very cool and I would give them a whirl. But...my own ignorance of the Venturi effect in relation to room acoustics is kinda holding me back...
I'm not a shill, but I did just order these after reading the info on The Cable Company's website. The good news is that they have a 30 day return policy, so I'm safe if they don't pan out!
Would you happen to know if they can be placed on the side wall, next to the front wall corner. Somewhat ironically, I can't mount them on the front wall of my listening room in keeping with manufacturer instructions due to my cathedral ceiling.
Apparently you can, although they recommend that if you only use one per corner. They do suggest that you put another at FLOOR level on the recommended wall along with the one on the less favored wall up top. Here is the page with the directions:http://www.ultrasystem.com/usfeaturedPanelsTechInfo.html
I will post my impressions once I get them.
I am curious about them as well. If they provide a benefit over what a corner tune could provide, etc, etc. as I need to get some treatments for the upper room corners and if they provide additional benefits for the additional $$, I would bite.
