I recently sold a TU-517 to a guy in Calif. Unfortunately UPS broke the transformer off the standoffs and also broke off two power caps. RioTubes was kind enough to volunteer to meet with the guy and solder in some new caps. In a short time this guy was up and running with a fine tuner with minimum hassle. Thank you!I want to thank him for his kindness and thank all of you and the Asylum for such wonderful support and assistance over the years. This asylum has been a tremendous place to learn and share and I truely appreciate it.

BTW, UPS has fun kicking, throwing and beating up boxes
One morning around Christmas time I arrived to discover my truck was still being loaded. Near my truck on the conveyor belt was an Oracle Delphi TT. My audiophile came out and I started telling the two young guys loading my truck how nice the Oracle was and how much it cost. One of the guys said: "WHAT!!!! No one should have a TT that costs that much money!" He then went over to the Oracle picked up the box and slammed it to the ground (a drop of about 6 feet) as hard as he could.
That's just one of many UPS stories I could tell... 99% of the time if they'll accept the size and weight of the package, your local Post Office will be cheaper and safer for shipping valuable parcels.
Yes they are much cheaper and much safer....they dont care whats inside and dont go out of their way to damage anything, they treat a box, like a box, like any other box.
