They are incredible, regardless of price. And they're underpriced... I'm familiar with the production process (no clues, sorry guys) and ken should be charging double- the amount of R&D and actual production time in this product are astonishing, as are the results- it does not add anything. So it doesn't jump out at you... until you find that there are improvements in many facets of your sound, and less overall coloration.

Well, that's a matter of perspective: The Halcyonics is definitely a more effective isolator of floorborne vibrations, however, against airborne, the neuance is more effective, acting to dissipate these, and is more effectively coupled, avoiding reflections of the vibrations in a piece of gear at the coupling points to the shelf back into the gear, where a heavy granite, or other high-mass material, will not be as readily excited, and thus, not dissipate as much energy.
I have both as well as Acapella bases. There really is no comparison if you ignore the high costs of the Halcyonics. If I could afford more, I would have them everywhere, but I cannot.
