I sold and shipped my modified Sansui TU 517 to a guy in Los Angles, CA. UPS sheared the transformer off the set-offs and broke off the two main power capacitors. Unbelievable!Anyway, I need someone in the LA area that can solder in two new capacitors for this guy and maybe remount the transformer. Let me know if anyone can help out or knows someone in the area that can do it. The capacitors were Nichion Muse 1000uF 50V and something in that quality range would be nice.
Any help would be apperciated,

Denny,Here is a link to Audio Specialist, a service center that Upscale Audio (i.e. Primaluna, Tjoeb, etc.) refers customers to. They are in Studio City (suburb of LA).
If it were just a matter of soldering a few caps, I'd be happy to solder replacement caps, but serious forensic work would be above my pay grade. Feel free to email me if you have more details. - Mike
Thank you! Are you in LA? This guy lives at 17xx N Berendo St.It looks like just the caps are broken off. The transformer needs to be remounted but that should just be screwing in back on. I had sent the guy some standoffs so hopefully those would work.
The caps are Muse 1000uF 50V. We need to find some replacements. Do you have any we could buy? I have some Silmics but I'm sure he would prefer similar quality to the Muse. I have some Muse on order but they haven't shipped yet and then I'd have to send them out there after they arrived here.
Let me know how you would like to proceed. Thanks again for the offer!!!
Thanks to Cougar also! If we can work out of LA it will be easier.

if the guy wants, but I will need some background info on whatelse you did just in case UPS has more damage than what you have written here. If this is OK with you then let me know and I will call you later to talk more on this.
Thank you so much for offering to help! RioTubes lives very close to the guy and has kindly offered his assistance. I really appreciate you willingness to help.
