BFitz, you are either completely ignorant when it comes to circuitry design and layouts, or a TROLL!
Follow Ups:
Nope, I have the service manual and board layout guide, will be happy to post it, it's quite easy to show/prove. Those film caps are used in the de-emphasis circuit, where precision values are needed. The switch shown switches between 50us and 75us. The audio path coupling caps are all tantalum, easily seen on picture you posted (if you know what one looks like). Just like we all said all along. All tantalum, including the last ones used on the outputs.
I reply only to check your misinformation.
Here is the T101 MPX audio Assembly printed circuit board page with parts values listed from the manual, along with schematic. You need to join this Yahoo group to get it though.

If you own one of these Tantalum-filled peices of rubbish, I am willing to take them off your hands for free. After all. I wouldn't want you to continue suffering by owning what amounts to the worst sounding and engineered tuner in the history of audio!
In fact, all Accuphase equipment is the cheapest, worst sounding, most idiotically designed pieces of trash ever foisted on the public!
I never said Accuphase tuners were what *you* said above. As previously stated, I own a T100 and love it. I just refuted your misinformation that said first, the T101 *never* had tantaulum caps in the audio path. Then you said it must have been an *early model* T101, and all later ones did not.
All incorrect information, despite your convincing words to the contrary regarding your experience with the Accuphase brand.
Then you start a thread under another name, post a pic showing all the tantalum caps, as a proof the T101 does not have them(!?) and repeat your misinformed claims. You need a bigger shovel? Are your lips around your knee by now? Then you call me a troll, and tell me I'm the one who doesn't understand circuit design. Hello?
Bob
My exact words were the T-101 should not have Tantalums in the audio-path (so what if they do), and maybe the first version did!I then posted proof that the tuner in question were equiped with not only Mylars but Polystyrenes as well! Something that you fool's denied outright!
