Any one a schematics of accuphase tuner T 105, 107, 109 or other. close up pics as well so can look at what is there.
Am restoring an T 101 and like to know which transistors/caps resistors they used after this lesser T 101. Strange tuner... has a 13 tantalum caps even as for coupling ....the last output caps are 10 uf tantalums 16 v ± 20% ! Hopefully they are not in the more recent ones anymore (otherwise just take a higher kenwood/sansui/ rotel and upgrade them and to beat the T 101 easily....)

Try www.asm-service-manual.com/ - They sell service manuals and schematics as PDF files which you download after ordering and paying about $6 via Pay-Pal. Their list of makes and models is in the thousands, looks like.
Dale.
You may want to take a look at the following step-by-step restoration process on an Accuphase T-100.

If the T-101 is full of tantalums and still sounds Accuphase good (my memory shows this to be correct), I wouldn't mess with it.The other Accuphase models employ audio-grade Mylars and Polystyrenes in the audiopath. All of their tuners are far more than the sum of their parts.
As far as other "upgraded" tuners beating the T-101, I wouldnt count on it.
Some pics i would really appreciate it.Can see what is in there ..
The T 101 is full of carbon film 5% resistors ...Are they still in the later models ... did they switch to metal film or ....
No. Carbon film sounds better.
If the T-101 sounds really good with bargain parts in the audio section, think of how much better it could sound after a few upgrades.
