Nicolas,
Why do you become rude and defensive when someone asks you a question? This is the same type of response that I received from you via email, when I ask a couple questions about the Metal Based GZ34's I purchased from you on ebay.
No need for that. You are getting a lot of support from your customers here. Please show them some respect.

Having seen some of the emails Micronetics has received from AA posters, I can perfectly understand his wariness. Please remember that audiophiles are an obsessive lot whose specific expectations from a tube seller are often quite excessive. Imagine a dealer selling a pair of tubes to every customer who requires several emails asking questions like specific codes, minute consruction details, details of boxes, matching to within a fraction - I can't imagine this could possibly be profitable.
Please also take into consideration the dealers perspective. He gets a lot of messages asking for a lot of his time with very little profit, if any. Selling to audiophiles, unless it's at Tubeworld prices, is a very trying business.
No argument there... All you say is TRUE!I think I have commented more than once here that I thought the metal base GZ34's were the Real Deal.
Just commenting on the above exchange without any knowledge of prior exchanges, plus my own experiences where a simple question was treated as an acusation, when that was not even close to the fact.
By the way, the boxes are real, as well.
I plan to put the Phillips boxes I received with my metal base GZ34's up on ebay just to see if Bugleman bids on them :~0
Dear Ivan303,Please find : Posted by Damir on July 08, 2002 at 10:49:30.
Seems self explanatory. However Damir needs to proove his friends claims before making acusations. We have other businesses apart from
the Tubes. I apologies but I personally are getting very stressed over some questions that unfortunately I cannot answer because I do not have the knowledge to give the right answer. I am not technically 100% minded in Tubes. However I do try to answer all messages as truthfully as possible. We send people photos, so that they can see the tube/s as well as the markings/branding and formulate their own opinions. Nicolas
and it's relevant because some Asian sellers are fabricating their own boxes and passing them off as 'original' when the ink is still wet. What I would do is just what you stated. Say that you were a large distributor and got the tubes bulk packed, but that you also received thousands of 'unused' but 'original' supplemental boxes. This is why they look brand new, because the boxes were never used, but they are NOT reprints.
Simple explanation that will go a long way in relieving the stress. You have items that are counterfeited quite a bit and command high prices. People are aware of the fakes coming out of Asia and sometimes people might view your auctions as being 'too good to be true' so you have to protect yourself against this natural tide of skepticism.
Chris,We at Micronetics appreciate your message greatly.
We do not sell our boxes as we do not have enough
boxes to box all the unboxed Tubes we have in stock.Nicolas
He's gotten so much flack and static over these tubes and boxes that
it probably has induced neurosis. Me? I'm psychotic, so I can relate.
