I have some 7119s with pinched tops and D getters, but no markings whatsoever. The glass is bare. Are these for sure 1950s Amperex, made in Holland?I also have some that are identical except for no pinched top.
I was told the whole batch were Amperex PQ, but I don't think so.
What do you think?

Hi ,
Others here have obviously never had their grubby paws on any pinched waist valves before :( Pinched waist valves were mainly produced in the 1950's , I have only seen E182CC/7119 from the Dutch factories and from Philip's US Amperex plant . I am 99.9% sure that pinched waist 7119/E182CC will be from Eindhoven manufacture . Look on the base between the pins for markings , the 'etch' marking is usually red or black ink . I don't know what all the fuss is about regarding these valves , for instance PW E88CC are one of the most expensive 6DJ8 out there but are also microphonic . For the insane few who think a different shaped getter or funny shaped mica makes a better sounding valve

I can't find a mark. What am I missing?
Without the code you are destined to wonder for all eternity. I think that this vintage was coded.
Do you have the ten kilowatt Kleeg light that can be can angled such that the remants of any inscription will show in the glancing glare? Do you have a 10X jewlers loupe from Bausch and Lomb. Both are requisite tube collecting essentials.
When you say pinched you don't mean pinched as in pinch waisted do you? Are these tubes really coneheads? I think not. Get out the digital camera and upload a high resolution closeup of the structure. Then people might know. I share your incredulity.
None of that stuff. Where can I read how to take a tube picture? The ones i take are all fuzzy + full of glare. They are Pinched waist. I got them from Single Power.
