Follow Ups:
According to the friend who built them for me, they put out 12 watts per channel. But they have enormous authority, no doubt at least partly a result of their humongous Magnequest transformers. Three tubes per monoblock -- 845 outputs, EL-34 drivers, 6N7 inputs (or ECC 31s, which I'm using now) -- and solid state rectification. They drove my former Gallo Ultimates with aplomb and have no difficulty with the Gallo Ref 3s in a listening room that's 18x40' with a large "L" off one of the 40' dimensions. Granted, I'm using the Gallo subwoofer amp to power the second voice coils, but even without it there's no real shortage of bass.
