I actualy play with Audio NOte KIT pre and match it with Audio Research D76a but something is wrong.Audio NOte pre cut high frquency. I dont know if a reason lies in Audio Note cooper capacitors or maybe pre dont match d76a?
What do you think?
Follow Ups:
According to the Audio Research Data Base, the D76a has a 390 pf capacitance in parallel with the 100 kilohm input resistor. Don't know which Audio Note preamp you are using but the AN website states their latest preamp kit has an output impedance of 3 kilohms. If you are using interconnect cables with, say 300 pf/meter, then a couple meters of cable, in combination with the input capacitance, would result in a -3 dB point of around 53 kHz.
The sound you describe is consistent with an impedance issue. The Audio Note kit has 3K output impedance. If the D76 has an input inpedance of less than 10K there could be an issue. Are you running any passive attenuation?

AR D76a has 100k input impedance.
There are gain controls in D76a.
