This Chinese website has many hi-rez detailed photos of many highly desirable audio tubes... including some very rare types. I find it useful for tube ID purposes.

www.tubeworld.com is another site/seller that has excellent pictures.My only complaint with them is the pix take a long time to load if you have a slow dial-up connection like me.

I just checked the link I posted and it doesn't seem to be working properly; page one WAS Toshiba 12AX7As, USA globe tubes, VT25s, singleplate 2A3s etc... now the link as posted doesn't seem to be working. The same page appears no matter what index is selected. Quite a shame. But, as you point out, many sites have excellent pix galleries.... tubeworld, tubemonger, teletone, etc etc etc are great for this, along with the British National Valve Museum and Retrovox Australia. Just googling any tube brand and type will unleash a bounty of finepix.... but this site was really nice. Perhaps it's just a glitch and will be back. No biggie either way-- I just thought it would help a bit to clear up a few questions in the increasingly complicated world of real and fake NOS tubes... You are right about the quality of pictures on tubeworld; VERY hi-rez. Teletone's are nice too, tho.
It's the standard drill of double clicking on each thumbnail picture for full size... sometimes there is a bit of lag time, slow server I guess, but the full size pix are great.
