Your right, not many poeple have heard of Synthesis. I do the service work for them in Canada, so I've pretty much heard them all. However I don't know the Flame. If it holds with the Synthesis family sound it will be a very pleasent amp to listen too. And pretty well made also.

Hi JoKath,I just picked up a Synthesis Harmony preamp. Wondering what you make of this model and if there is a schematic available for it? I'm really enjoying the sound of it driving my Logan Vantages and it's only just breaking in (3 hours played!). Annoyingly, the tubes were blown on my brand-new unit! But a gorgeous pre and very interested in their newer models.
thanks and best,
Nice preamp. Very simple circuit with a strong power supply. Certainly not a flashy sounding pre, but you can listen through it for hours. It's takes well to tube rolling.Pretty strange the factory tubes were blown, but I've seen worse.
Synthesis is a little tough to get schematics for, I don't even have that one.
Hi,No problem -- I'm very much enjoying this pre and will take your advice and try out a few tubes in it. It is a very "hear-through" unit, which mates very well to the high-rez Logans. Looking forward to hearing it with some NOS tubes!
thanks again and best,
