I don't have any construction ability. Does any body want them . I didn't test them but they look fine will try to test if I can. email from my profile or ask here-
The 50L6GT, 25L6GT & 12L6GT is nothing like a 6L6, 6L6G, 6L6GB or 6L6GC. Usually when a tube has part of the number (xL6 for example), the x is the heater voltage rating with other characteristics (L6) being the same. Not so in the case of the 6L6 vs 25L6 or 50L6.
Make a small stereo SE amp with them. Cheapest of parts. 50L6 and 50C5 were designed as line operated amps.USE A TRANSFORMER - EITHER AN ISOLATION TRANSFORMER OR LINE OPERATE WITH AN INPUT TRANSFORMER.
Chris is right.
The 50L6GT is a beam power tetrode. This tube along with the 12SA7, 12SK7, 12SQ7, and 35Z5 make up the famous 'All American Five' which was a popular tube set for early tube radios. Millions of inexpensive radios were made using these five tubes.
Low power beam tetrode output tube. It looks like they were used in string heater circuits so they did not need isolation transformers. They were probably used in small radios as output tubes. Most of these types of tubes are of little interest to audio as they were made for very cheap circuits.
