I get short bursts of static from 1 speaker for a few seconds after I power off my integrated tube amp (Jolida 302b). I get the same volume static no matter what I do with the volume setting on the amp, and I even get the static with all sources powered off.I assume these bursts of static might be caused by tubes cooling down. Am I correct? Are they in any way harmful to the amp or the speakers, or indicative of bad tubes?

I had the same problem and the fix was as simple as cleaning the tube pins. Hope your fix it is that simple too.

I had the same problem, and it was a poor connection from the speaker wires to amplifier.
How could that cause the problem? I don't understand.
The amplifier would slowly discharge the power supply capacitors, and with the poor connection to the speakers, the sound was very scratchy and static-like. When a proper connection was made, the gradual discharge remained, but became scratch free.
