Sorry guy, all Mullards were made in G.B.
Phillips owned Mullard, yes. Phillips owned a lot of tube makers. Mullards were made in England. Toward the end of the line, other Phillips and even non Phillips companies made some tubes branded Mullard. (Such as the IEC Mullard logo) These were made with the knowledge of Phillips.
They were not Mullards. They were branded Mullard. That didn't make them Mullards.

Whoops. After I typed that I recalled that there was a plant or two over in Holland that made Mullard brand tubes and can be considered Mullards.

I will admit my response was not complete or accurate.
I had just come from another Mullard topic based on the new "Mullard" tubes coming from Russia. Since I could not open the link supplied by the original poster, and since I was in a hurry at the time, and since I was thinking in terms of companies using the Mullard name on tubes completely different from the original Mullard design, I made my post the way it was. Sorry.
Also, like another poster said, if it sounds good, he'll use it. Well, so will I. That wasn't the issue. I'd even listen to the new "Mullard" coming from Saratov.
But the fact remains that while they are legally labeled Mullard, they are not the "real thing."
Tubes made in Europe for Mullard by Phillips companies should be considered Mullard. No doubt.
