The flammers usually don't have any manners. Welcome to the Tube Forum. I also have noticed a few attacks against Groove Tube. I guess you can't satisfy every body. I am happy with mine. Their main customers-- guitar players-- seem happy too.
Follow Ups:
"Their main customers-- guitar players-- seem happy too."That is completely untrue. On most boards, a preponderance of people who have tried these tubes complain of many problems including poor sound.
I've heard them and they aren't even remotely close to a Mullard, let alone any other NOS tube, and cannot even stand with any current manufacturer for that matter. GT's qa is non existant, which explains the high microphony rate after a few hours.
Were they the grade 8-10s that are supposed to be best for audio, not guitar amps? Have you ever heard the E34LS GTs in an audio amp? The most truthful answer is most likely no.You are just an anti GT shill. If not please share with us your personal experience with GT tubes as I have.
Would never buy them after being involved in listening tests and observing their history. There are just too many alternatives to choose from.Ya know, I just noticed you called me a shill. Do you know something I don't know?
