Hi, has anyone seen a 6sl7 with plates that weren't the round type? What brands and vintage might they be?

These are the only style of 6sl7's I've seen and I was just curious about other types. I have Sylvanias, RCA's, Philips, Rogers, GE's etc and they all have this type of plate. I was just wondering about the other types available and whether they sound different. It's amazing to me that so many tubes have grossly different formats and still maintain the same specs. A good example is the 6l6 varients, there must be dozens of shapes and sizes and they may not sound exactly the same but the specs are very similar. Same for 6sn7's and apparently 6sl7's as well. Anybody have an idea on why that would be the case?
Here is a set of Tung-Sol 6SL7 on A'gon with square plates.-- josé k.
I ain't sure what you mean by "the round type" and it ain't the first time that I have heard that description. I have seen and have plates from Tung-Sol, Sylvania, and RCA that are just flat plates. The two former types were old-maybe late 50-early 60's, whereas the RCA were, I believe relatively modern, as compared to all of the old ones I have from them which feature a flat plate with the center third of the plate curving out of the plane of the plate.
No bet, just curiousity. This is the first time I've seen or heard of a 6sl7 with a different plate shape, but I'm from Canada and things may be different here:-)
