Recently I bought some 5814 of 50's years and tested it. The valves come in the original military boxes. I tested and I observed that almost all were with low emission, below of 28/28. A good valve in my tester measures 40/40. But after a 2 hours burn-in , them starts to have normal emission. This happens due to age?

I've often seen the same thing. A tube tests low, then run it for a while in a circuit, test it again and it tests much better. This doesn't always happen - unfortunately - but often enough that I typically try run a tube in a circuit for a while before testing it.
It would have been the same case when brand new. That is partially why vendors burn-in tubes for 24 hours prior to matching
I'm pushing 50, and I'm here to tell you it is definitely possible!
Maybe I need a couple of hours burn in...sorry. That was just a gimme.
Thank goodness for Viagra!
