I was surprised to find some in a UPS I scrapped. I dunno why but I thought they stopped making them in the 60's. Mine are labeled CSC rather than just sprauge. Safe to assume they sound the same as the old(er) ones??
Follow Ups:
Dearborn still lists several vit. Q capacitors on their website:
Sprague, Gudeman, Kemet, Pyramid, Aerovox, GE under different type names. Paper in oil, Mil spec, hermetically glass sealed aluminum tube. I think they were manufactured until the EPA cracked down late 60 and early 70s. They used PCB oil in the early ones. Ray

Sure, lots of companies made PIO caps, but are they all Vitamin Q's? Do they have "Vitamin Q" printed on them? Every cap I have seen with that particular brand name printed on it also carried the Sprague label. Obviously, I have not seen every cap ever made, so I am curious.
To my knowledge, Sprague had the trademark Vitamin Q but other companies made PIO caps to the same specs.
