Is the so called We connection in PP amps (capacitor from centertap OPT to cathodes outputtubes) usable/useful in case of fixed bias ?

Eric Barbour meant to float the ground of the heaters to reduce hum.
It is my guess that your power supply is already doing this.

I haven't seen this before, but It looks like a way to apply local NFB. In fixed bias, though, there's vanishingly little signal on the cathodes, or none if there's no bias-take resistor in the common leg.I wasn't going to say anything because I'm not personally familiar with this dodge, but it doesn't look like it will work with fixed bias.
