I know that there are many, many...many posts regarding grounding methods but I have a particular question that I would like some advice on.Is it OK to end a sentence with a preposition during informal correspondence?
OK - here's the real issue:
I'm building a PP stereo amp. I plan to use a 14 ga. solid copper wire as a bus that runs from system ground to (isolated) input ground. All ground connections on the bus will be arranged in an order determined by current.
My notion is to run a separate bus for each channel, each of which would be connected to the same chassis-earthed system ground lug but connect to its respective input ground terminal. My reasoning behind this is to limit channel interaction as much as possible. Are there any electrical issue that would make this a poor or suprefluous idea? Thanks again for your assistance.

I can't see any reason why it should cause a problem. I doubt if you'd notice any difference.
are there is only one chassis ground. The two busses should connect only at one point and the input jacks should be insulated from ground with nylon washers or rubber grommets. If it's a stereo amp with one power supply, the 14 gauge ground buss can be in the shape of a "Y". The two legs for the two amps and the single leg for the power supply with a chassis ground lug bolt(No.8-10 bolt) at the junction of the three legs. All ground leads, the buss, the CT of power transformer, the filter cap grounds all come here. It's called a "star ground". This way the chassis is now a shield and not a conductor of ground currents. Ray

Thanks for the responses, guys.Ray , that's pretty much the plan - good to have it confirmed. Thanks for your input. Now I'm off to start assembling. Good times, good times...
