For those of you who are going to the AES convention this week, I'll be around during the technical tour of Paul Stubblebine Mastering on Friday afternoon. The tour will include Paul's Camellia mastering room, which uses our tube electronics to power his Magico four way speaker system, and Coast Recorders, a classic old school Bill Putnam studio where we just finished the all analog recording session of our upcoming Jacqui Naylor open reel album. Rumor has it that 1" masters of some well known material may be rolling on Paul's ATR Services 1" ATR with Tim de Paravicini electronics driving Meyer Sound X-10s in Michael Romanowski's Magnolia mastering room...
